Most Inspiring Title:
Assassin's Creed II
Developer: Ubisoft Montreal
Publisher: Ubisoft
Assassin's Creed II's music is filled with Renaissance culture, while the game and dialogue itself underscores the true Venetian classes. Assassin's Creed I had major faults, and WhatIfGaming still remembers giving Assassin's Creed I the Worst Game of the Year for 2007 when it was released including consistent mediocre impressions in previews ever since it was announced. Assassin's Creed II just keeps reinforcing the notion that things sometimes just go wrong and it is nothing to be ashamed about. While Assassin's Creed I was below mediocre, the sequel places itself leagues above the former and above many other games of 2009. Assassin's Creed II earned WhatIfGaming's Most Inspiring Title of the Year Award and places itself in gaming history as a tremendous accomplishment for Ubisoft Montreal.
